About MRS -

Michelle Rose Slape

I've always been a documenter of life. From old school 1980's albums to scrapbooking to digital scrapbooking. I'm the one always taking photos with intent to scrapbook them. I suppose that is how I ended up in photography - I wanted to help people have those scrapbook (and social media) worthy photos.

Getting your family photos shouldn't be a stressful event. Through bad jokes, funny stories, and lots of laughter, my goal is to make your portrait session as enjoyable as possible.

My real photography passion is photographing individuals with special needs. All too often I hear parents voicing how difficult it is to get decent photos of their child with special needs. As a parent of a child with special needs, I can empathize. I know how difficult it can be. I also know the satisfaction, though, of gaining the trust of a child during a photo session so that they are willing to smile for the camera and open up to me. It isn't uncommon to find me crying (tears of joy!) behind the lens.
